Plug & Play Home Comfort

Plug & Play Home ComfortElectrification in NYC is failing — not because people resist it, but because buildings cannot accept conventional solutions. Retrofits are invasive, expensive, and destructive.Plug & Play Home Comfort is a new pathway: a comfort system installed without trades, without penetrations, and without mechanical infrastructure. The Problem
Conventional electrification assumes: drilling through masonry, refrigerant lines on façades, condensate routing, wall cassettes, soffits, engineers in every unit, and ongoing service burden. It doesn’t pencil out financially, politically, or architecturally — so electrification stalls.
The Breakthrough
What if comfort behaved like furniture, not HVAC? Silent, modular, reversible, installable by anyone, and upgradeable without construction — that is Plug & Play Home Comfort.
Design CodeComfort should enhance architecture.Success is silent.Intelligence lives at the plug. One device, one purpose.Comfort is local. No penetrations. No scars. The System
Three elements deliver comfort without construction:
• A silent wall convection heater (Stiebel Eltron is the only one in the U.S. that meets the standard).
• A window heat pump that preserves the window as a window (Midea U is currently the only mass-market product with the correct geometry).
• A brand-agnostic smart plug — the control layer lives here, not inside the device.
No proprietary box. No commissioning. No infrastructure burden. Why It Matters
If electrification is going to scale in cities, it must be affordable, reversible, architectural, occupant-friendly, and mechanically minimal. Plug & Play Home Comfort is the only pathway that meets those criteria today.
